We are big fans of both the classic MKH 416 and the more modern 8000 series. At NAB, among other things, we used the MKH 8060, which we greatly appreciate, as a camera microphone and backup, and it performed its service as reliably as usual. We are particularly excited about the various stereo modes and the general sound of the condenser microphone with the new MKH 8018.
