Chinese manufacturer Hollyland has introduced two new models for its Cosmos series of wireless video links. The Cosmo C1 transmitter/receiver pair features the new ability to not only wirelessly transmit 1080p60 video over distances up to 300 meters (line-of-sight) in near real-time (with latency as low as 40ms), but also stream live at the same time via USB Video Capture (UVC) interface. ![]() Hollyland Cosmo C1
The transmitter has both an SDI and an HDMI input and additionally an SDI Loop Out output, where the input signal is looped through. The receiver has one HDMI and two SDI outputs. A PC can be connected via USB-C, which is then recognized as a 1080p60 webcam and can be used as a video source in live streaming programs. Both have a small OLED display to show the transmission parameters or the device status, among other things. ![]() Hollyland Cosmo C1 interfaces Hollyland&s HEVO technology is said to improve transmission reliability in the 5.1 - 5.8 GHz frequency band by using adaptive frequency hopping (AFG), which changes frequency every 0.001 seconds, and increased signal strength to eliminate flickering or pauses in transmission. Power for the Cosmo C1 transmitter/receiver can be supplied via a Siny NP-F rechargeable battery, via the included D-adapter, or with an optional USB power adapter via the USB Type-C port. A dedicated warning light indicates when there is only power left in the batteries for 20 minutes of operation. The transmitter and receiver can each be mounted horizontally via Cold Shoe Mount, and there is also a 1/4″-20 threaded hole. ![]() Hollyland Cosmo C1 The Hollyland Cosmo C1 set of transmitter and receiver will be available in about a month and will cost around 915 euros. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Hollyland Cosmo C1: SDI/HDMI-Videofunkstrecke mit Live-Streaming per UVC |
