The new Mini-Drone HoverAir Aqua is not only 100% waterproof according to the IP67 standard, but also floats on the water thanks to its special "rescue ring" and can therefore take off and land from there. According to HoverAir, over 15 special adjustments have been made to the design and housing to ensure that the HoverAir Aqua does not suffer any long-term damage in (sea) water. ![]() HoverAir Aqua The HoverAir Aqua is intended for selfie shots during water sports such as swimming, wind and wave surfing, kayaking or SUP paddling. Thanks to AI-based tracking or the beacon, the Aqua automatically tracks and films the selected object in various modes. Its technical data is similar to that of the X1 Pro Max: It also has a 1/1.3" sensor and can record 4K video at up to 100 fps, also with 10-bit and HLG and H-LOG color profiles - but no 8K. Its maximum speed is up to 55 km/h and it can withstand winds of around 60 km/h. An AMOLED display on the front top shows the status and allows easy selection of flight and recording parameters. Thanks to its low weight of 249 g, it belongs to the drone class C0 and is therefore subject to fewer regulations than larger drones, which simplifies its use. For example, you do not need an official drone license to fly it.
