Ikan has introduced the new RGBWA LED softpanel Canvas CC8, which with dimensions of 50.8 x 25.4 x 1.27 cm) is not only very compact and light, but also flexible - which is not only practical for transporting the otherwise rather bulky panel, but also allows a special lighting design. The bi-colour colour temperature of the Canvas CC8 is adjustable from 2.800 to 10.000 Kelvin, its beam angle is 120° without softbox.

It has a light output equivalent to a 300W light bulb with a maximum power consumption of 24W current. An external controller can be used to control the brightness and colour (via RGB or green/magenta mode) of the light.

The power comes either from the mains or from V-Mount batteries, which can be mounted on the controller. The light comes with a special X-mount, but it can also be mounted via a traditional 5/8" mount.
Ikan Canvas CC8 has a CRI value of 95 and TLCI value of 96 - it can be pre-ordered at a price of around 490 dollars. The package includes a softbox and an "egg box" for light modulation. It is also available in a kit of 2 at a price of about 1,200 or a set of 3 at a price of about 1,600.
