Until now, you had to choose between a 360° view and 1" sensor size for the modular Insta360 One RS. In contrast, the new Insta360 ONE RS 1-inch 360 Edition launched today combines both features, featuring two 1" CMOS image sensors that capture back-to-back spherical video in up to 6K or photos at 21MP.

Insta360 ONE RS 1-Zoll 360 Edition
The following video formats are supported at a maximum bitrate of 120Mbps:
5888 x 2944 at 30fps
6144 x 3072 at 25/24 fps
3840 x 1920 at 30/25/24 fps
3040 x 1520 at 50 fps
Like the older 1" module (without 180° optics), this one was also developed in collaboration with Leica; the lenses are a bit faster here with an f/2.2 aperture. Insta360 algorithms in combination with 6-axis gyro data provide FlowState stabilization and horizon compensation as usual. Selfie sticks can be automatically masked out of the pictures at the push of a button, which can simulate a flying camera.
The IPX3 spray-proof 1-inch 360 Edition weighs 239g and features a different (portrait) format factor, but has the same ONE RS core as the previously available modules. Those who already have a ONE RS and want to upgrade to the 1-inch 360 module can purchase an upgrade bundle that includes only the camera module, battery and mount.
The Insta360 ONE RS 1-inch 360 Edition is available now and costs about 940 euros, the upgrade bundle costs 770 euros.
