Intel's unfortunate HEDT launch - Core i9-7900X and X299 platform

Since the introduction of Intel's new HEDT processors and the new X299 platform, you can read overheads and problems everywhere in the network. There are apparently - similar to AMD's Ryzen Premiere - minor, but angery problems with memory frames. The fact is that Intel has not been such a bad, because overhasted product launch for years. In public perception this is all the more perceived as a panic-like quick shot against the burgeoning competition from AMD. Fairly, however, one must also emphasize that large parts of the international IT trade press here in the Pruegelmodus against Intel obviously want to meet. Perhaps because Intel at this launch in the run-up only select editors with test models. BecauseActually it is actually "only" an unfortunate chaining of two problems. There would be first the fast-paced processor top model Core i9-7900X, which in spite of overactibility in practice is hardly to overwrite. It simply consumes a lot of current in the release clock. The expectation of the overclocking still more from a processor to be able to get out, of course Intel in the last generations themselves ever further fired. Now we seem to encounter a natural limit of architecture. The Core i9-7900X works simply from the factory at the limit. And already at this factory limit, he asks for current, many motherboards unusually high, whose voltage transformers simply are not designed for this load. But when the mainboards at theManufacturers, one could not even suspect that Intel with the Core i9-7900X still a power monster for the X299 platform would move. This top processor also hit the mainboard manufacturers icy cold, because Intel, the specifications for the performance unexpectedly increased unexpectedly. That's why it is now time for many buyers to wait again until new BIOS and hardware revisions of the boards are available. And at the same time, you can and of course wait and see how AMD's upcoming threadripper will cut off in a couple of weeks against the X299 platform. Just this time buffer, Intel probably would not go against AMD with his quick shot to not make the appearance AMD would put Intel in the role of the driven who must react. But now
