Even if AMD has the more interesting processors, you shouldn&t let Intel out of your sight when buying a new system. Thus
in a Russian presentation a new device class was leaked, which could become perhaps particularly interesting for your or other user: NUC Mini Workstation Barebones.
NUCs are almost complete PCs in very small housings, which are delivered completely manufactured by Intel except for the main and SSD memory. The special thing about the new workstation NUKs will not only be the optional Xeon CPUs. But above all the possibility to accommodate (very small) PCIe graphics cards in the mini case.
Equipped with a Core i7 and a small RTX2060 Super, it should be very easy to create an extremely compact mini workstation that would be more than sufficient for many compositing and editing tasks.
There is still no official announcement of these "Quartz Canyon" systems, but Intel is expected to deliver them this year. Unfortunately, there is no speculation about pricing at all. Since you have to equip the GPU yourself, the whole thing might not be too expensive.
