Notebooks usually lack GPU power to work with high-resolution video, which is needed because programs such as Adobe Premiere CC or Blackmagic DaVinci outsource many computationally intensive tasks to the graphics card. But there is a solution: a GPU extender offers the chance to add an external high-performance GPU (eGPU) to an ultrabook or notebook via Thunderbolt 3 - in addition to the additional computing power, this also offers the possibility to connect several displays, e. g. for an extra-large desktop interface to a laptop. Conveniently, a single high-performance GPU can be used alternately with multiple notebooks.
The KFA2 SNPR GPU Extender is already equipped with an ![]() ![]() ![]() KFA2 SNPR The housing is relatively small (165 x 156.5 x 73mm), with 1.38 kg relatively light and therefore transportable. It has its own 230W power supply and provides a maximum of 15W for charging notebooks via Thunderbolt 3 - cooled by a large aluminium body with three heatpipes and two axial fans. The KFA2 SNPR will be available from the beginning of December for about 500 Euro - in view of a price of around www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/slashcam/5077237_-geforce-gtx-1060-mini-6144mb-gddr5-zotac. html (250 Euro for the cheapest GTX1060 6GB) a quite good offer - but please note that the very small eGPU housing of the KFA2 SNPR is only available for the supplied VY=t9WmofNgHg0 ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: KFA2 SNPR: Externe Grafikkartengehäuse samt GTX 1060 6GB für Notebooks |
