The Polish manufacturer Kinorg is still a young player in the higher quality camera accessories sector. Founded in 2011 by DOP Patrick Yegor, Kinorg presented its Follow Focus System D25Ws at last year&s IBC. The D25Ws features a robust housing in 7075 aluminium with fast A/B stop programming, autocalibration, A/B vibration feedback, compact ergonomic design, background lighting, max. 180m range, max. 24h Pulling-Performance with the internal rechargeable battery, internal charging and much more.
The D25Ws controller is based on a modified ZigBee protocol and operates in the 2.4 GHz range with its own MAC addresses. The system should therefore be able to be combined with other radio accessories without interference.
The KM1 and KM2 motors offered by Kinorg weigh 245 gr and operate with 4.8 or 5.2 Nm.
A new addition to the D25W&s Remote Follow Focus System is the B20 Fingerwheel - a smaller remote unit that also works with the KM1 and KM2 motors.
The B20 Follow Focus should be especially suitable for slim setups on gimbal, rear camera operation etc.
The D25Ws Wireles Follow Focus is offered in different motor kits - prices start at 2.599, - Euro net.
The new B20 Fingerwheel is available for 700, - Euro net.
If you want to see the D25Ws Wireles Follow Focus System including the new B20 Hand-Grip Follow Focus live and in color, you might eat to attend a demo- and hands-on event with the KINORG developer team at 25p* cine support in Berlin on October 12th at 19.30.
