In addition to the new www.slashcam.de/news/single/Neue-Monitore-von-LG--Thunderbolt-4--98--DCI-P3-un-16310.html models (34GP950G, 32GP850 and 27GP950), LG has also introduced another monitor from the UltraGear series, the 27-inch 27GP850, which is also aimed at gamers.
Just like the other models, this one is also interesting for working with video due to its technical specifications: its color-calibrated 10-bit Nano-IPS panel with WQHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440) not only covers the professional DCI-P3 color space by 98% and the sRGB color space by 135%, but also supports variable refresh rates of up to 165 (with overclocking even up to 185) Hz via FreeSync Premium and G-Sync-compatible Adaptive Sync.

LG 27GP850
Thanks to its brightness of 400 nits, it meets the DisplayHDR-400 standard and can thus display HDR, although not a really good one - see our article
When can a monitor display real HDR? Be careful with the DisplayHDR standards.

It hastwo HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB 3.0 hub with 2 outputs. For better ergonomics, it can be adjusted 5° forward, 15° backward, as well as 110mm in height or used vertically via the pivot function (it cannot be rotated around its axis, though).
The LG 27GP850 is scheduled to hit the market in May 2021 at a price of around 600 euros.
