LaCie now also offers a portable SSD solution with USB-C connection for Macs and PCs. LaCie&s "Portable SSD" is specified with maximum sequential read/write speeds of 540/500 MB/s and is designed to withstand drops of up to 2m with a highly shock-resistant design.

The Portable SSD comes preformatted with exFAT for Apple macOS and is available in capacities of 2 TB, 1 TB or 500 GB. The scope of delivery also includes a USB-C cable, a USB 3.0 cable (for older computers) and the LaCie Toolkit software.
The Portable SSD from Lacie will be available this month at the following prices: 2 TB (529.99 EUR), 1 TB (269.99 EUR) and 500 GB (124.99 EUR).
