Laowa has announced its funding campaign on Indiegogo for its new Nanomorph Zooms. Designed for Super 35 sensors, the anamorphic zoom lenses are said to cover a constant T2.9 aperture and focal length ranges of 28-55 and 50-100 mm. ;)
Laowa has not yet announced any prices, but the new Nanomorph anamorphic lenses are expected to be both the most affordable and most compact zooms in their class. Laowo states a weight of 1.5kg per lens. The compression ratio is said to be 1.5x and can also be extended to 2x via an adapter. Like other anamorphic lenses, Laowa wants to offer the Nanomorph Zooms with Amber, Blue and Silver Flares. The first images with the nanomorphs can be seen here: We are quite curious to see what prices Laowa will be charging for the anamorphic zooms. After all, such zooms are currently among the most expensive lenses on the market.
