VenusOptics has introduced another manual fixed focal length in its fast Laowa Argus lens series, this time again for full-frame cameras. The Laowa Argus 28mm f/1.2 FF offers an angle of view of 75.4° there. With a maximum aperture of f/1.2, the 28mm does not quite reach the speed of the other "Argus eyes", which have an f/0.95. On the other hand, this time the optic is also available for the L-mount, in addition to the Sony E, Canon RF and Nikon Z.

Laowa Argus 28mm f/1.2 FF
The optical construction comprises 13 elements in 7 groups, including two ultra-high refracting elements and two extra-low dispersion elements. The lens weighs 562g and measures 68.5 x 106mm; the filter thread measures 62mm.
The diaphragm is composed of 13 blades and can be unclicked if necessary. There is no information about the focus distance this time (300° would be typical for Argus lenses). The minimum focusing distance is 50cm, so you can't really get close with this optic.
The Laowa Argus 28mm f/1.2 FF is said to be available now and costs (plus duties / import - shipping from Hong Kong).
