Compact, anamorphic lenses for a Super35 image circle will soon be offered by Venus Optics in advance on Indiegogo. The three fixed focal lengths, 50mm T2.4, 35mm T2.4 and 27mm T2.8, each feature a 1.5x compression factor, slightly more than the 1.33x Sirui lenses for S35, for example. Unlike these, the Nanomorph optics are also designed for cine operation with fanged lens rings for focus pullers and the like.

Laowa Nanomorph 1.5x
Many specifications are not yet known, but Venus Optics is touting the lenses as the smallest anamorphics available - the 27mm, for example, is said to weigh 313g with a diameter of 60mm and a length of 90mm. The closest focusing distance is said to be short. Mount options will include EF and PL, and presumably several different variants for mirrorless cameras.
Regular retail prices per lens are (mirrorless mount) and (EF / PL), with all three focal lengths in a bundle costing and later. On Indiegogo, the Nanomorph lenses are offered up to 30% cheaper in advance; the campaign starts on May 17.
