For the hybrid system camera Leica SL3-S as well as for the SL3, there is a video-heavy firmware update. Version 3.1.1 adds new recording modes, which were already listed in the announcement of the SL3-S (www.slashcam.de/news/single/Leica-SL3-S-vorgestellt-mit-6K-Open-Gate--Phasende-19051.html) in January. C4K and C6K can now be recorded internally on CFexpress in Apple ProRes 422 HQ; this codec was previously apparently only available in FullHD.
;) The new format options Further improvements in firmware version 3.1.1: - The "Headphone Volume" function can now also be accessed via the "Audio" menu in the "Video" area and via the FN button. - By pressing the joystick, the "Magnification" function can now be activated and deactivated. - When changing the symbol assignment in the Control Center, the assignment list with the already assigned option is opened and displayed as the starting position. - The previous menus "Film Look" and "Video Look" (under JPG settings) have been merged with the "Leica Looks" menu and can be accessed directly in the main menu. - The firmware update process has been optimized.
