Logitech has introduced Mevo Core, the next generation of its live streaming camera series. The camera has a Micro-Four-Thirds sensor and interchangeable lens mount, but is unfortunately only available in the USA and Canada for the time being - distribution in Germany is planned (it is already listed in the German Logitech store, without price). ![]() Logitech Mevo Core The Mevo Core is built as a compact cube (9x8.2x9cm / 700g) and is operated entirely via smartphone or tablet. The optical zoom, exposure and sharpness can be adjusted via the graphical user interface of the Mevo Multicam app (if supported by the lens used). The app can also be used to adjust the audio mixing, add graphic elements to the stream and the like.
![]() As the name of the app indicates, you can also connect several cameras simultaneously via Wi-Fi 6E (multicam setup). Thanks to HDMI out and NDI and SRT support, it is also possible to integrate the Mevo Core into other streaming workflows. And of course it can also be used as a webcam. ![]() The Mevo Core streams to portals such as YouTube or Twitch in a maximum of 1080p30 at up to 6Mbps, MP4 video recording to SD card is possible in 4Kp30 at 40Mbps. The integrated 3-microphone array is designed to detect and eliminate unwanted background noise with spatial audio processing and noise suppression. The integrated battery is said to last up to 6 hours (an Ethernet power adapter is available separately). Various accessories can be attached via standard threads on four sides of the camera housing. MFT adapters will be supported in the future to enable the use of non-MFT lenses. The small Mevo Core camera is available in the USA for 999 dollars (body only, without lens). ![]() ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Logitech Mevo Core - neue Live-Streaming-Kamera mit MFT-Sensor |
