LukiLink - Smartphone as a recording monitor and live streaming device

The dream already exists longer: Why not use the usually quite good display of a smartphone as an external monitor for your own camera? The answer: Because smartphones usually have no video input. LukiLink&s kickstarter project is now going to work around this problem by converting the HDMI signal of a camera into an MP4 stream by means of a small box, and then, via USB, into the smartphone. PIC1 There is then not only a preview (including peaking) on u200bu200bthe smartphone display (up FullHD resolution) possible, but the MP4 stream can be recorded at up to 18 Mbit / s synonymous or even streamed live. The latter is thus a remarkably inexpensive way to stream with a professional camera directly via 3G / 4G into radio networks. Oh yes the price: costLukilink is to announce at 129 Euro, who is still going into crowdfunding currently even special kickstarter prices of 89 and 99 euros respectively. We want to look at Lukilink closer, but we are particularly interested in how strong the latencies fail and how good the preview quality at 18 MBit / s can turn out. VY = XtF_baqWUZM A full replacement for an external monitor, Lukilink is certainly not, especially since (still) no 4K support, or corresponding Magnifying gives. Even when used as a recorder, the highly compressed (probably 4: 2: 0) MP4s with a maximum of 18 MBit / s data rate should not represent real competition for Atomos and Co. And lateret when during a Livestreamings ploetzlich Mutti calls on the Lukilink one will ask oneself whetherThis form of the multifunctionality of its own compromise is really taken into account. But fun aside: If you already have a good mobile phone, you can not only save money, but also save space, especially if you want semiprofessionell livestreamen. Especially Youtuber should be interested in Lukilink. If the money with kickstarter together, is to be delivered already from October. And in case of high demand is even an SDI version is thought. VY = VdQRPSLghv0 In the project (mit-) is involved Frank Glencairn, which certainly some of you know from our forum. There you can certainly get rid of specific questions about LukiLink u003cimg src=
