MSI has introduced the new Optix MAG301CR gaming monitor, a 30-incher with a curved (1500R) VA panel in 21:9 format with 10-bit color depth, a WFHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,080 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 200 Hz, which covers 98.29% of the professional DCI-P3 color space and 127.39% of the sRGB color space. Its contrast ratio is 3000:1, its brightness 300 cd/m² unfortunately only 300 nits, which is not enough for a good HDR display (it also doesn't have any HDR certification).

Its interfaces include both two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.2, a USB-C port, and a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1) with two Type A and one Type B port.
For better ergonomics, the MSI Optix can be rotated (+/- 30°) as well as tilted (-5° to + 20°) and adjusted in height by up to 10cm. In addition, it can also be used vertically via pivot and has a blue light filter and flicker-free technology to protect the eyes.
MSI has not yet announced when the market launch will be and how high the price will be.
