Macromedia has announced the Flash Video Kit, which will be Macromedia Studio MX 2004 with Flash Professional users to easily add video in the form of streaming or progressive download, Drag & Drop Flash projects. The Flash Video Kit consists of four components: an extension for Dreamweaver, a special version of Sorenson Squeeze to convert common video file formats into Flash Video format (FLV), an introduction to the topic of online video and a free 15-day test of "Flash Video Streaming Service powered by VitalStream."
