Magix Vegas 19 available - including BRAW Editing and Text-to-Speech

The editing classic Vegas (formerly Vegas Video) has just received its nineteenth (!!) version number - and with it a lot of new exciting features:

In addition to native support for Blackmagic RAW (BRAW), Vegas Edit&s color correction capabilities are said to have been significantly upgraded. So now there are "Rage Limited Color Wheels" as well as individual "Color Curves" with pickers for highlights and shadows. In addition, 40 Look LUTs and 20 Camera LUTs have been added to the presets. With HDR10 /HLG as well as ACES 1.2 support, Vegas should be well equipped even for professional projects in terms of color.

The Adjustment Tracks, already known from other programs, are certainly also practical. Here, effects can be applied to all underlying tracks together, which is usually particularly effective for "master" effects (which are to be applied to longer sequences).

If you&re willing to spend a little more money, Vegas Pro Version 19 offers even more functionality "on top". Thus, in addition to the integrated keyer "Boris FX Primatte Studio", there is also Vegas Stream (for video streaming sessions) as well as SOUND FORGE Audio Studio for audio editing.

If you choose the Vegas Post Suite, you also get the compositing tools Vegas Effects and Vegas Image.

But that&s not the end of Magix&s product differentiation. Depending on the version, you get even more goodies when you take out a subscription: In addition to a Mobile to Timeline quota for direct video upload from iOS or Android (20, 50 or 100 GB), you also get access to royalty-free stock content. In Vegas Edit there are 20 assets, in Vegas Pro unlimited HD material and in Vegas Post even unlimited 4K material.

Even more exciting, however, sounds a new text to speech engine that is exclusive to a Vegas Pro or Post subscription from within the program. With this, Vegas can have a virtual speaker read texts aloud. In English, this works "so-so":
