The relatively new Cine lenses from IRIX are equipped with a magnetic front mount for attaching accessories, which until now only a sun visor could use. Now there are special filters for the lens series, which can be placed in front of the lens in a quasi self-adhesive manner thanks to the magnetic mount.
Available are UV, CPL, ND filters (ND4, ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64), which can also be combined as desired. They are 5mm thin and completely flat, as no thread is required.
The MMS filters with a diameter of 86mm are compatible with all Irix Cine lenses and are made of hardened glass coated with a special nano material as well as with a double-sided multilayer anti-reflection coating.
The filters are available immediately at prices from 85 to 105 Euro.
The IRIX Cine series so far includes four manual focal lengths (Irix Cine 11mm T4, 15mm T2.6, 45mm T1.5 and a 150mm T3.0 Macro).
