Rode has just released a major software update for its popular Wireless Go II two-channel digital wireless audio-solution - available for free download. We had recently tested the Rode Wireless Go II ![]()
We had identified a need for improvement with the Wireless Go II radio link, especially with the missing batch export function from Rode&s own software Rode Central - it&s great to see that Rode is providing a corresponding update very soon, which also brings a number of other improvements. These include batch export: Batch export: Multiple recording files can now be exported simultaneously. Exporting sections: Sections of recordings can now be exported individually via a manual selection, eliminating the need for the user to export the entire file. Marker indexing: User markers that have been manually dropped into a recording are now indexed in a drop-down menu so that specific sections of a recording can be easily accessed and exported. Colour-coded markers: To help distinguish between dropout markers and user markers in a recording file, they are now coloured red and green. Dropout regions: When multiple dropouts occur within 10 seconds, they are now displayed as a "dropout region" instead of multiple dropout markers being strung together. This can then be exported as a single section. Jump to Marker Button A "Jump to Marker" button has been added to make it even easier to find and export dropouts, dropout regions and user markers. Naming of recordings: Recording names can now be edited manually in RØDE Central. Improved recording navigation: A mini navigation bar has been added to the top of each recording, allowing the user to quickly jump to a specific area instead of having to scroll through the entire file. A zoom function has also been added to the waveform of the main recording. Both functions are particularly handy for navigating through longer recordings. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Großes Rode Wireless Go II Software Update: Batch-Export, neue Marker-Funktionen uvm. |
