Manfrotto introduces new, lightweight travel tripods -- actually for photographers, but if you're a filmmaker on vacation and don't want to carry a large tripod with a heavy video head, you'll occasionally switch to such alternatives; static shots can at least be made with them. The new series includes the tripods Element MII, Element MII Mobile, Element MII Mobile BT and the Element MII monopod.

Element MII
The aluminum Element MII is based on the previously offered tripod "Element Large" (and replaces it). It offers a load capacity of up to 8kg, reaches a height of 160 cm, measures 42.5 cm when folded together and weighs 1.55 kg. The supplied ball head of Element MII has two independent locks, one for the movement of the ball and one for the 360-degree swivel movement, also with two levels. The 200PL PRO Light plate is compatible with both Arca Swiss and Manfrotto RC2
A leg angle selection mechanism allows the leg angles to be changed quickly for accurate camera placement, and the M-Lock twist lock system also contributes to quick set-up. The central column of the tripod can be removed and used rotated 180° for shots close to the ground. Price approx. 129,99 Euro.

Element MII Mobile
The similar Element MII Mobile is delivered directly with a universal clamp for mounting smartphones. However, it is made of carbon fiber and therefore weighs only 1.35kg with a similarly high load capacity of 8kg. Price 199,99 Euro.
The version Element MII Mobile BT comes with a Bluetooth remote control, which allows the starting/stopping of recordings from a distance of up to 27.5m (Apple and Android support). Price 229,99 Euro (also available in aluminium for 159,99 Euro).
Up to 15Kg can be balanced on the Element MII monopod. It consists of aluminium (four leg segments with twist locks), weighs 500g and can be extended to max. 159cm. Including 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch mountings, price 49.99
