Manfrotto has introduced the new aluminum Element MII video monopod with fluid head. According to Manfrotto, it is the lightest video monopod on the market, weighing only 1 kg (with a maximum payload of 4 kg). It is offered in two versions: one with an integrated, non-removable fluid head, which is said to allow smooth pans and tilts while filming via Manfrotto Fluid Drag System, and one with a 3/8-16" threaded connection only, for users who already own a fluid head.
