Manfrotto has introduced the new Move Quick-Release System, which is designed to allow filmmakers to quickly switch between different setups on set, such as different tripods or gimbals. The system consists of a flat base socket and plate that create a universal, 360-degree connection that can be easily made and unmade with a click and a twist - no screws need to be tightened or loosened.
By attaching the base to different camera equipment and the base plate to the camera, users can quickly switch from one setup to the next and use the camera with a different tripod or other accessories without having to stop to screw and unscrew different plates into position. ![]() The two components of the Manfrotto Move Quick-Release System. The flat base is 60mm in diameter and accepts a standard 3/8&& thread that works with various tripod combinations (tripod, slider, monopods, etc.). The plate comes with a standard 3/8&& and 1/4&& top mounting screw to ensure easy connection with a wide range of products. It also features an anti-rotation pin to work safely in all shooting configurations and a 1/4" adapter seat. ![]() The two components of the Manfrotto Move Quick-Release System.
