Meike's second full-frame cine lens is scheduled for release at the end of January. Like the already available 50mm T2.1, the 35mm T2.1 covers an image circle of 45mm and is said to support high resolutions up to 6K/8K.

The optical construction includes 14 elements in 9 groups, resulting in a weight of 1107-1170g, depending on the mount. Basically, the optics will be offered with PL / EF / RF / E or L mount, but initially only the PL and EF versions will be available. Those who need a different bayonet will have to be patient.
The minimum focusing distance is 33mm, the focus travel is 330°. Focus and aperture ring are serrated (M0.8), the aperture consists of 11 blades. The filter thread measures 82mm in diameter.
The introductory price of the Meike FF-Prime 35mm T2.1 is 958 dollars (delivery from China / import duties etc. to be considered). The other focal lengths 16mm T2.1, 24mm, 85mm, 105mm, 135mm, all with a T2.1, are to follow.
