ProDAD has released the latest version of its professional stabilization technology for Mac OS in the form of Mercalli SAL (Standalone) Mac, which stabilizes shaky footage from action cams, smartphones and camcorders in post-production. Also included is a correction for specific rolling shutter and CMOS image errors caused by vibration and the ability to remove fisheye distortion.
Stabilization profiles optimize the correction settings after analysis of the individual clip. In addition, the stabilization parameters can be manually fine-tuned with the real-time preview of the original and the corrected clip, which can be performed in a vertically or horizontally split comparison view. Profiles for Actioncam and drone recordings are also included.
Supports SD, HD and UHD (2.7K and 4K) video material, batch analysis also allows multiple videos to be processed in a single operation. The resulting video can be exported individually or in batch mode with overall settings for export to ProRes 4444, ProRes 442 (all variants), AVC/H.264 (.mov or .MP4), Motion JPEG and VC/H.265.
Mercalli SAL Mac costs 149 Euro - ProDAD also provides a fully functional 30-day trial version (the exported files contain a watermark).
