Every now and then, a Kickstarter project launches whose success can leave you quietly amazed. Currently, for example, a small camera is being offered there that reached its funding target within 30 minutes and has since exceeded it more than 15-fold. The joint project between Yashica and ![]() Micro Mirrorless Yashica - I&m Back The Micro Mirrorless (MiMi) is advertised as the smallest mirrorless interchangeable lens digital camera. It is basically an action cam with an interchangeable lens mount, but we are not talking about a state-of-the-art action cam here. This is because it uses the 1/2.33" Sony IMX117 CMOS sensor - it is on the market ![]()
The interchangeable lenses that are screwed in front of the approximately 12-year-old sensor are probably proprietary, at least no mount is specified. If you would like to pre-order the camera, you can purchase up to three focal lengths, which correspond to 20mm, 50mm and 150mm (converted to KB). A mount adapter to allow the use of other, larger lenses is planned for the future. ![]() Photos can be taken with a maximum of 12MP (which corresponds to the sensor resolution), but videos are also supported in a maximum of 3840x2160/24fps or FullHD with up to 60fps (MP4 H.264). It is not known what capabilities the Novatek image processor has; electronic image stabilization or similar does not appear to be on board. However, there is said to be a connection option for external microphones. Other features include a 2" touch flip display, Wi-Fi, HDMI-out, USB-C and microSD slot. Despite the old sensor, the camera obviously triggers a strong "want-to-have" feeling in many people - the combination of small form factor (77mm x 50mm) and interchangeable lens is of course fundamentally attractive. The Sigma fp (112.6 × 69.9 × 45.3 mm) with its full-frame sensor also offers this, but it costs around 1800 euros, while the MiMi including one lens can currently be pre-ordered for 219 euros (with the usual crowdfunding risks). The set with 3 lenses is available for 290 euros and will later cost 399 euros. ![]() ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Micro Mirrorless Kamera - Actioncam ohne Action, aber mit Wechseloptik |
