With the new CiNX tripod head series, Miller wants to take the ever more compact cine cameras into account. The new CiNX heads will be shown for the first time at IBC 2019 and are available as CiNX 3 (1-19kg payload), CiNX 4 (2-21kg ) and CiNX 7 (6-25kg).
The special features of the new CiNX series are: The side load mechanics prepared for Quick Release ARRI Dovetails, the triple interchangeable mount option with which you can change between 100 and 150 half shells as well as Mitchel flat bottom and the four accessory threads provided with 3/8" ARRI lock pin mounts.
The counterbalance of all Miller CiNX tripod heads is 16-step and the damping levels of the CiNX 3 are 5 (+0) each and of the CiNX 5 and CiNX 7 7 (+0) each available. Similar to OConnor, there is a large tilt lock lever on the left side of the CiNX heads, which also has a soft stop function. Miller indicates the working temperature from -40 to +65 degrees Celcius, which is about the same temperature level as Sachtler and OConnor.
We do not have Euro prices yet but the US prices range between about 4,000 and 6,000 dollars for the solo heads. Additionally we offer kits with 100, 150 mm half shell and Mitchelmounts which are about 2.000 Dollar higher.
