Hardly anything is known about Christopher Nolan&s current film project "Tenet", except that it will be one of his most expensive films -- and that it will be released in July 2020, which should undoubtedly make it one of the cinema highlights of this year. A trailer has recently been released that looks promising, but what exactly the action movie will be about remains a well-kept secret. It&s about agents, an extremely tricky mission and space-time: as is so often the case with Nolan, it doesn&t seem to run in the usual tracks. The main characters are John David Washington (known from Spike Lee&s "BlacKkKlansman") as well as Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Debicki.
The film will be shot on film, not surprisingly, as Christopher Nolan is one of the great advocates of analogue cinema and again uses IMAX and 70mm. Hoyte van Hoytema will be responsible for the cinematography, as he did for "Interstellar" and "Dunkirk".
