Fresh off the start of NAB 2023, Adobe is also showing off news from its own video applications division. Firefly doesn't represent a video theme yet, but Premiere Pro, After Effects and FrameIO remain the focus for news in Creative Cloud for now.
The most extensively presented feature was text-based editing in Premiere Pro. Currently it is already available in beta, the final release is targeted for the May update. After speech-to-text conversion, content-based editing is now also possible in the text window. This means that you select text passages that can then be moved to the timeline. By the way, Speech-to-Text now runs locally - an active Internet connection is not necessary for the conversion.

Furthermore, there is now also an Auto Tone Mapping in Premiere Pro, with which, among other things, log and HDR material can be automatically adjusted to a target color space.will So you can mix material from different color spaces without further ado in the timeline. This works similarly to a "Color Managed Workflow" in Resolve.

Frame.IO now also offers direct integration of photos into the cloud. Leading the way here is Fujifilm, who, after all, currently have Frame.Io integrated most deeply into their new cameras. As soon as a photo is taken, the upload to Frame.Io takes place automatically, just like with videos.

"Forensic watermarking" and other content protection mechanisms have also been introduced to Frame.Io so that "data leaks" can be better identified and tracked.
