With the NIKKOR Z DX 24 mm f/1.7 Nikkor introduces the first fixed focal length for its DSLM portfolio with APS-C sensor (DX). Nikon Z30 and Z50 users in particular should feel addressed, as the new 24mm Nikkor is a fast fixed focal length that - calculated for full-frame format - should be around 36mm. (Which may be considered a thoroughly popular fixed focal length range). ![]()
At just 135g, it weighs less than half the weight of its current Nikkor full-frame counterpart (Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.8 = 370g) and, with dimensions of 70x40mm, is also quite compact. The optical construction consists of 9 lenses in 8 groups (including 2 aspherical lenses). The closest focusing distance is 0.18m and the filter thread accepts 46mm screw filters. ![]() Nikon explicitly points out with the new NIKKOR Z DX 24mm f/1.7 that it is particularly suitable for film shooting. In addition to its proximity to the "classic" 35mm focal length, it also refers to suppressed focus breathing and a particularly quiet stepper motor in focus mode. According to Nikon, the NIKKOR Z DX 24 mm f/1.7 is also "designed to be resistant to dust and dripping water". Availability and price: The NIKKOR Z DX 24 mm f/1.7 is expected to be available in stores from mid-June 2023 at a recommended retail price of EUR 319.00. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: NIKKOR Z DX 24 mm f/1,7 - erste APS-C Festbrennweite für Nikon Z-Mount für 319,- Euro |
