Nanlite has introduced the FM Mount Projection Attachment 18°-36° (PJ-FMM-18-36), a new zoom projection attachment specifically designed for its FM-Mount LED spotlights, such as the Forza and FS series. It offers a zoom range from 18° to 36° with high edge sharpness and significantly increases the illuminance of a spotlight.
Nanlite Zoom-FM-Mount-Projection-Attachment
The optical design uses aspherical glass to achieve sharp edges and even illumination while maintaining consistent performance throughout the zoom range. The aspherical optics minimize aberrations and contribute to high 97% beam homogeneity and 96% CCT accuracy, with only 3% distortion (measured at 18° beam angle). The lens coating improves light transmission and supports color accuracy, minimizing color shifts. The matte black inner tube reduces internal reflections and stray light for a sharper beam.
Precise beam adjustment is achieved via a large, easily accessible zoom ring. The projection attachment has its own yoke, which improves balance and stability in combination with a device. It also allows for a significant downward tilt.
Nanlite Zoom-FM-Mount-Projection-Attachment
The FM Mount Projection Attachment 18°-36° concentrates the light beam and increases the illuminance of a spotlight by up to 21 times. It is fully compatible with all COBs with FM-Mount from Nanlite, such as the Forza and FS series models. Compared to conventional projection lenses with a fixed angle, Nanlite&s new FM Mount Projection Attachment 18°-36° offers significantly more flexibility. The adjustable beam angle allows users to fine-tune the size and sharpness of the light without changing lenses, saving valuable time on set. A 360° rotation is also supported, allowing for the rotation of gobo projections or shutter cuts.
Nanlite Zoom-FM-Mount-Projection-Attachment
The housing of the Nanlite FM Mount Projection Attachment 18°-36° is mainly made of aluminum alloy with nylon components. The yoke allows for a strong downward tilt of the device and mounting on stands with Junior Receiver or Baby Pin.
Light Shaping Possibilities
The built-in shutters precisely shape the illumination area, while the gel frame slot allows for easy use of color gels. The set includes a proprietary special-sized gobo holder and four gobos, as well as a universal M-size gobo holder for greater compatibility.
