Nanlite introduces Rapid 90 and Rapid 120 softboxes that are ready to use in seconds

Nanlite has introduced two new softboxes, the Rapid 90 (SB-RP90) and the Rapid 120 (SB-RP120), designed for exceptionally fast setup and deployment. The rapid setup is achieved through a "Rapid-Latch" speed ring, featuring a trigger handle mounted near the Bowens mount on the struts. A single pull-and-push motion tensions and locks the softbox&s metal ribs.
To release the tension, simply operate the trigger, and the softbox collapses—Nanlite claims this takes just one second. As with other softboxes, diffusers and grids attach via Velcro to the softbox&s frame.
Nanlite targets productions under time pressure, news, and documentaries, or anyone who appreciates a simpler setup, as the primary audience for the Rapid softboxes.
Thanks to the universal Bowens mount, the new Rapid 90 and 120 softboxes are compatible with Nanlite LED COBs like the Forza, FC, and FS series, as well as any LED setups with a Bowens mount.
Despite the rapid setup, Nanlite claims no compromise in light quality. The softboxes deliver professional, even light performance with two included diffusers (standard and light).
