Nanlite is launching the Pico, a full-color LED light designed specifically for mobile use due to its compact dimensions and a weight of only 130 g. Despite its pocket-sized design, the Pico delivers a remarkable light output of 4,211 lux thanks to its 16 full-color LEDs, whose hue (0–360 °) and saturation (0–100 %) can be steplessly adjusted thanks to the Nebula C4 Light Engine.

In addition, the color temperature can be finely adjusted between 2,700 K and 7,500 K and precisely adapted to other light sources or skin tones via a ±150 green/magenta control. The high values of CRI 95 and TLCI 95 as well as TM-30 Rf 92/Rg 99 ensure natural color reproduction.

The Pico is complemented by a magnetic diffuser that can be attached in seconds and creates a soft, low-scatter light pattern. The housing integrates a 1.28" round display on which all light parameters are clearly displayed. It is operated intuitively using a single rotary control in combination with two buttons. If you prefer to work via smartphone, you can make all settings and install firmware updates via the integrated Bluetooth interface and the Nanlink App 2.0.

With the help of an integrated yoke with twelve locking positions at 30° angles, the Pico can be flexibly positioned, while built-in magnets in the base allow for quick docking to metallic surfaces. Alternatively, the Pico can also be attached to a tripod, rig or directly to the camera via a cold shoe adapter using the 1/4″-20 thread.
The power supply is also tailored to mobile use: The built-in 1,500 mAh battery pack provides between approximately 1.3 and 6.5 hours of operating time, depending on the brightness setting. In addition, a power bank or power supply unit can be connected via the USB-C port to extend the operating time if required. For creative lighting effects, there are 14 integrated programs such as candle flicker, lightning or siren light, the parameters of which can be individually adjusted, enabling dynamic effects without an external control panel.
