Aputure has introduced a whole range of new lighting accessories for its LED lights: the Light Dome II and Light Dome Mini II softboxes, the Aputure X Chimera Lightbank, the Aputure Barndoors and the Amaran EZ Box+ II.

The 2.3 kg dome softlight Light Dome II, 61 cm deep, provides a large, uniformly illuminated surface and has a number of improvements over its predecessor. Among other things, an even higher quality diffusion fabric is used, the build-up and degradation system is accelerated and takes less than a minute, and a honeycomb is also supplied to produce more directional light if required.

A steel construction of 16 bars provides an even rounder picture than before. The Light Dome II is attached to an LED headlamp using a standard Bowens mount. Included in the package are two different diffusers with 1.5 stops and 2.5 stops.

Light Dome Mini II is very similar to the Light Dome II except for its size and weight: it weighs only 1.3 kg and the diameter of the outer diffuser is only 54.5 cm compared to the 88.5 cm of the Dome II - but with about 120 Euro it is also much cheaper than the Light Dome II for about 250 Euro.

Amaran EZ Box+ II, a sofa box in the form of an attachment for the AL-528, HR672 and the Amaran Tri-8 lamps from Aputure. It is supplied with collapsible rods that allow it to be assembled and disassembled in seconds. The EZ Box+ II increases the light area by 150% - at a price of 65 Euro, the package also includes a grille that reduces the beam angle to 35 degrees.

Aputure Chimera Lightbank is the product of Aputure&s collaboration with the well-known lighting accessories manufacturer Chimera. The Chimera Lightbank provides two different layers of diffusion (Magic Cloth and Galf Grid) for Aputures LS-1 LED light that can be used together or individually and costs around .

Aputure Barndoor, a 4-gang barn door for the Aputure 120D/120T and 300D light series. The Aputure Barndoors also have a magnetic gel holder and a 30 degree grid to limit the light angle. The four wings of the barndoors are made of smooth aluminium.
