Canon Canon takes off in June 2004 with the models MVX20i and MVX25i camcorder, a new family with a special photo-functionality in the trade. An RGB primary color image capture chip records as in 2 megapixel digital cameras from Canon images with 1632 x 1224 pixels. Also home theater enthusiasts to experience video in a new dimension: An evolutionary 16:9 switch enables users to capture wide-screen video with real gain in image information. The MVX20i with a 12X optical zoom is available for 1099 euros. The MVX25i offers additional manual Tonausteuerung and Super Night Mode and is equipped with a 14X optical zoom.
