LG has just released the UltraWide 40WP95CP-W, an update of its ultra-wide 5K monitor ![]() LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W
The particularly large screen area of 5,120 x 2,160 pixels in 21:9 aspect ratio predestines the LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W for working with video - it enables the display of (DCI) 4K video including menus for editing. In addition, the professional DCI-P3 color space is covered by the curved (2500R) 40" 10-bit Nano-IPS Diplay by 98% and the sRGB color space by 135%. HDR display is supported via the HDR 10 standard. ![]() LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W in daisy chaining Another plus point is the Thunderbolt 4 interface, which can be used to simultaneously transfer the display data and supply a connected notebook with up to 96 watts of power. Since the 40WP95CP-W also has a Thunderbolt 4 output, another display with maximum UltraHD at 60Hz (or another Thunderbolt 4 device) can be connected via daisy chaining. The other interfaces of the LG UltraWide include a DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C and two HDMI 2.0 ports. The refresh rate is variable via AMD Freesync, but is only 72Hz maximum. The maximum brightness of 300 nits is only average, as is the 1,000:1 contrast. The 40WP95CP-W can be fully adjusted in tilt (-5° to + 20°) and height (110 millimeters) as well as rotated by 15°. ![]() LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W The LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W officially costs €1,339, which is slightly cheaper than its predecessor, which was launched at a price of €1,399 - online it is already available at a price starting at €1,274 ![]() ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Neuer 5K Monitor LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W: billiger und sparsamer als das Vormodell |
