Asus has introduced two new models of its ZenBook Pro Duo series at the virtual CES 2021, whose special feature is an additional second small touch screen above the keyboard, the so-called ScreenPad Plus.
What&s new here is that the second display automatically angles itself at an angle of 9.5° for better readability and usability when the notebook is opened. Visually, the ScreenPad Plus also seamlessly connects to the main screen. Additionally, the new opening is used for cooling the hardware. This special functionality as well as its good displays and technical performance data make it interesting for professional users.

The secondary screen. The second screen is used via Asus ScreenXpert 2 software specifically for displaying as well as touch operating option menus or for example the timeline in video editing programs. Among other things, several programs from Adobe&s CC bundle, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop, supported the ScreenPad Plus for displaying, for example, brush size, saturation or layer opacity - leaving more space on the main screen for displaying the actual content.
Prices and availability The ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED will be available in April at prices starting at around 4,000 euros, while the ZenBook Duo 14 will be available from around 1,700 euros and is scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2021. more infos at bei www.asus.com
