New DJI Air 3 on approach: Two cameras, new controllers and longer flight time

After retailers accidentally posted both the product specs and pricing online, all the key specs of the upcoming - but not yet officially announced - DJI Air 3 drone are now known thanks to the usual leakers: so, following DJI's trend, it will feature two cameras with 1/1.3" sensor and dual native ISO - on board are said to be a 24mm wide-angle camera with F/1.7 aperture and a 3x medium telephoto camera (with F/2.8 aperture), both of which can shoot photos at 48 megapixels.

Video can be recorded without crop at up to 100 fps in 4K or in 4K HDR at up to 60 fps. Recording in 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG is also supported, as well as vertical recording at up to 2.7K. Compared to the previous Air 2S model (1"), however, the sensor is slightly smaller.
New O4 radio transmission system
. According to this data, it will be the first DJI drone to support the new O4 video transmission system, which is said to allow live transmission of 1080p60 video (including controls) from distances of up to 20km - a significant increase over the Mavic 3's O3+ transmission system, which only reaches 15km according to U.S. FCC standards. It should be noted, however, that in Europe, due to different regulations and lower transmitting power the distance is reduced.

New remote controls - longer flight time
. DJI is also giving the Air 3 two new remote control options, the RC-N2 and the RC2, the latter with its own display. Their improvements or technical specifications, however, have not yet been leaked. The Air 3 weighs 720g and features both an omnidirectional obstacle detection and avoidance system and smart recording features such as Spotlight 2.0, ActiveTrack 5.0, Waypoint and Point of Interest 3.0.

Thanks to the new batteries, the flight time - under ideal conditions - is 46 minutes, which is significantly longer than the previous model and exactly as long as the Mavic 3, which, however, almost never achieves such times in reality.
Price and Release Date
. The DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (including the RC-N2) remote controller is expected to cost 1,394 and 1,594 with the RC2 controller. DJI also offers a matching ND filter kit, which consists of four dual filters (ND8/16/32/64), and is said to cost . The nature of these leaks, i.e. the exact specs and packaging, suggests that the official unveiling will likely happen in the next few weeks.
