Memory card specialist Delkin Devices has announced a new model range of its Black memory card series, the Black CFexpress Type B memory cards. The Black CFexpress cards from are specially designed for professional users in the broadcast, cinema and photo industries.
That&s why Delkin guarantees its CFexpress cards not just maximum, but sustained sequential write speeds of at least 1,400 MB/s (even higher, depending on capacity; the 512 GB model has a minimum of 1,710 MB/s). This sustained write speed allows recording of, for example, DCI 8K RAW 12-with 30fps (which equates to a transfer speed of 2,600 Mbps / 325 MB/s) with the Canon R5. The cards are also capable of reading and transferring data at speeds up to 1,730 MB/s.
New Delkin Black CFexpress cards
CFexpress memory cards are used by the Sony FX6,Sony A7S III,Canon EOS R5 and Canon EOS C300 Mark III among others, as well as cameras such as the Nikon D6, Z6 II & Z7 II, which were designed to natively support XQD cards, but will also accept CFexpress Type B cards via firmware upgrade.
Each Black CFexpress Type B memory card has undergone extensive testing to ensure full functionality and performance, according to Delkin. Delkin offers a special built-in insurance policy for its Black memory cards, the "48-Hour Replacement Guarantee," in addition to the "Lifetime Warranty." Delkin will replace any non-functioning BLACK card within 48 hours or less (excluding weekends in the U.S. and U.K.), even before the non-functioning card is received by Delkin. Cards may also be replaced at any authorized Delkin BLACK dealer.

Delkin sells the Black CFexpress cards in four versions with different storage capacities of 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB (DCFXBLK64, DCFXBLK128, DCFXBLK256 and DCFXBLK512).
