Many media projects currently have to be managed via remote workflows -- making clear file management and smooth collaboration processes all the more important. This is a good time for Dropbox to start further integration with a range of post-production apps.

In addition to the already existing
integrations with transcription tools, Ascribe.ai can now also be used seamlessly. It uses artificial intelligence to transcribe footage stored in Dropbox as SRT files that can be easily imported into Adobe Premiere Pro.
Using Dropbox and
FileCatalyst integration, Dropbox can be added to the FileCatalyst Direct server as an external file system. This enables UDP-accelerated file transfers of Dropbox content using any FileCatalyst client application, including HotFolders for automated transfers and TransferAgent for browser-based transfers.
Other integrations include a CI HUB content management panel, Wipster for image-accurate feedback and comprehensive approvals, and Sprout Social integration for managing social media campaigns.
