SmallHD presents a new 4K production monitor, which is also suitable for outdoor shoots with a brightness of 1500+ nits. The Cine 13 features a 13.3" (34 cm) IPS LCD panel with 3840 x 2160 resolution (338 PPI). It supports 10-bit (8 + 2) color bit depth, Rec 709 is 100% mapped. With a total weight of about 3Kg, it is comparatively portable.

Four 12G-SDI connectors are available as inputs and outputs, as well as one HDMI 2.0 input and output. Power is supplied via a 4-pin XLR input (210 W max, 12 - 34 VDC, 18 A max), or via (optionally available) dual gold-mount/V-mount battery plate for mobile operation. Power outputs for accessories include two 2pin (12V / 2A combined), two USB (5V / 2.4A) (front/rear), and one USB-C (5V / 1.5A) output. An SD card slot and Ethernet port are also on board.
The Page OS 4 user interface provides a number of useful functions - filmmakers can display waveforms, scopes and e.g. false color of their image or calibrate the display using the Monior Calibration Wizard or display multiple sources simultaneously via dual or quad view.
The SmallHD Cine 13 will cost ,699 and is scheduled to ship at the end of July.
