On September 28 - next week Wednesday - Sony will unveil a new Cinema Line camera. The livestream is announced for 4 p.m. local time. However, Sony does not provide a teaser image or a motto for the new launch.
On the
rumor sites one has been reading for some time about a coming FX30, which is to be very similar to the FX3, but with a smaller sensor (APS-C). If this information is true, it would be a novelty for the Sony Cinema Line, since the cameras available so far all shoot in full frame.

Sony FX3 with full frame sensor
In fact, Sony had launched
three APS-C wide-angle lenses in June, although there was actually no apparent reason for it: the most current matching Sony camera, the ZV-E10 system camera, had already been on hold for half a year at that point due to component shortages.
Therefore, we had already suspected that a new APS-C camera could be in the starting blocks - so we will find out on Wednesday whether this is the case.
