Manfrotto has introduced a new series of extra rugged MicroSD, SD and CompactFlash memory cards. The Pro RUGGED cards use high speed NAND flash memory, have a high read speed of 280MB or write speed of 250MB/s (SDXC version) and are highly reliable in extreme environments - ideal for outdoor shooting in harsh conditions. For example, the (SDXC) memory cards are designed to operate in a temperature range of -25° C to 85° C and are made from a single piece of plastic for increased stability. They are designed to withstand a force of up to 20kg and are also waterproof and dustproof and can function for up to 72 hours when fully submerged. ;) Manfrotto Pro RUGGED MicroSD, SD and CompactFlash memory cards The Pro RUGGED cards are available with memory sizes of 64 and 128 GB as SDXC (UHI-II, V90 and U3) with up to 280 MB/s for around 50 and 100 Euros respectively, as CompactFlash UDMA 7 card with up to 160 MB/s for 72 and 135 Euros respectively and as Micro SDXC memory card (UHI-I, V30 and U3) with a maximum of 90 MB/s for around 30 and 38 Euros respectively.
