New firmware for DJI RS2/RSC2 gimbals brings support for BMPCC 6K Pro and more cameras

DJI has released firmware updates for its two Ronin one-handed gimbals DJI RS2 (firmware version 01.04.00.00) and (RSC 2) (version 01.03.00. 00) has been released, which adds additional camera compatibility to both models with the Canon EOS 7D Mark II, Sony Alpha A7S III, Fujifilm X-T4, Sony ZV1, Leica SL2/SL2-S and BMPCC 6K Pro, as well as enabling native ActiveTrack support for the Panasonic S1, S1R, S1H and S5, and fixing some issues.

New features of firmware 01.04.00.00/01.03.00.00 for DJI RS2 and RSC2

- Add photo capture for Sony α7S III and α7 C cameras with a multi-camera control cable (USB-C). Support for photo and video recording, camera settings, autofocus and focus for Sony Alpha 1 and FX3 cameras with supported Sony E-mount lenses when using a multi-camera control cable (USB-C).
- Support for video recording, camera settings, autofocus and focus for Sony ZV-1 cameras with supported Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lenses when using a multi-camera control cable (Micro-USB).
-Additional support for photo and video capture, camera settings, autofocus, and focus pull for Canon EOS 7D Mark II cameras with supported EF-mount lenses when using Multi-Camera Control Cable (Micro-USB).
-Additional support for photo and video capture, camera settings, autofocus and focus pull for Panasonic Lumix S1R cameras with supported L-mount lenses using Multi-Camera Control Cable (USB-C).
- Support for video recording, camera settings, autofocus and focus pull for BMPCC 6K Pro cameras with supported EF-mount lenses using a multi-camera control cable (USB-C).

- Added aperture, ISO and EV settings for the FUJIFILM X-T4 in video recording mode.
- Added ActiveTrack for Panasonic LUMIX S1, S1H, S1R and S5 when using the multi-camera control cable (USB-C). Requires the

latest camera firmware
-New Steadicam mode added
-Increased motor rotation speed when used with Ronin 3D Focus system.
-Optimized rotation speed when calibrating focus motor.
-Reduced focus motor noise.
-Fixed bug: Canon R5 and R6 cameras crashed when camera control command did not match camera shooting mode.
-Fixed problem: Autofocus not possible with FUJIFILM XT3 and XT4 cameras in video recording mode.
-Fixed issue: Shutter could not be controlled on BMPCC 4K, 6K and 6K Pro cameras when using an updated camera.
