New high-end notebook at ALDI with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, 64 GB RAM and GeForce RTX 3080

Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord will offer several new notebooks and desktop PCs from July 29, 2021, including two models that are aimed at gamers due to their good technical features, but so naturally interesting for demanding work with high-resolution video.
Medion Erazer Beast X25
The Medion Erazer Beast X25 Notebook (MD63835) is a high-end model with 17.3" FullHD IPS display with up to 240 Hz refresh rate - equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor with 8 Zen 3 cores and a clock speed of 4.6 GHz and 64 GB RAM in the two memory slots.
It also features the latest and most powerful mobile Nvidia GPU with the GeForce RTX 3080 with 16 GB of DDR4-3200 VRAM (and a load of up to 165W). On board as fixed storage is a 2TB M.2 PCIe SSD (another M.2 slot is available for expansion). Furthermore, the Beast X25 has an RGB backlit keyboard with 16.7 million colors, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 with integrated Bluetooth function as well as an integrated IR webcam and microphone.
Medion Erazer Beast X25
A whole range of interfaces are available: 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 with Type A port (with a maximum of 5 GBit/s transfer speed), 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A (with a maximum of 10 GBit/s), 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 GBit/s) as Type C port with DisplayPort function as well as a Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC card reader, HDMI 2.1 and Ethernet. The 6-cell Li-polymer high-performance battery with 91.2 Wh is supposed to provide energy for up to 3 hours of battery life. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed.
The 2.3kg Erazer Beast X25 notebook is only available online and costs 2,699 euros including shipping.
Medion Engineer P10
The highlight of the approximately 1,300 euro Medion Engineer P10 Core Gaming PC is the built-in Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card with 8 GB VAM, which cannot be had individually online for less than just under 700 euros.
As a processor, it uses an Intel Core i7-11700F CPU with 8 cores, a base clock of 2.50 GHz and a turbo clock of up to 4.90 GHz. It is equipped with 16 GB DDR4 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD.
Medion Engineer P10
The interfaces of the Medion Engineer P10 include 2 x USB 3.2 Gen1 (with a maximum transfer speed of 5 GBit/s) on the front, as well as two USB 2.0, two USB 3.2 Gen1 (5 GBit/s), one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C (10 GBit/s), one HDMI 2.1 port as well as three DisplayPorts 1.4a and one Ethernet port on the back.
Availability
Those interested in one of the new models will have to be lucky, because experience shows that such offers are sold out within a very short time - the launch date thus resembles a lottery more than a classic sales launch. The computers are not available in local stores, but only online at Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 08:00 (while stocks last).
