On September 2, Panasonic plans to present another mirrorless full-format camera called LUMIX S5 in a digital launch event. After the three 1-series models (S1, S1H and S1R), this will be the fourth model in the series. The first rumours of this have been circulating on the Internet for days.
As things stand at present, the Panasonic LUMIX S1 and S1H full-format cameras offer a very well-rounded package for filmmakers and, in our opinion, the only thing they have to catch up on is the autofocus. Maybe Panasonic can finally catch up with the competition with the S5?
