The KODAK Zi8 pocket video camera, according to press release full HD 1080p video recording (1920x1080 pixels), but precise data on the frame rate and sensor size are missing (the current model Zi6 has a 1 / 4, 5 "CMOS sensor and takes 720p / 30/60 at BPS). Interestingly, it has a microphone port, and an optional remote control seems to be available. The LCD size is 2.5 inches, an electronic image stabilization is available, and as with the Flip Minos, there is a USB connector to expand. The disk has a SD / SDHC card. From September, the Zi8 in Germany for 199 euros available (so it is here, as so often the case with cameras much more expensive than in the U.S., where they 179 costs $).
