Nitecore introduces Large Format Cine lens portfolio - Superior Prime: Rebranded NISI, Bokehlux, Kin

Only recently the Chinese manufacturer Nitecore, known for its flashlights and batteries, had been in the slashCAM News with its intelligent batteries for Sony Alpha. Now it goes on with a complete Large FormatFormat im Glossar erklärt Cine lens series, called Nitecore Superio Prime and consisting of the following Large FormatFormat im Glossar erklärt lenses:

The technical specifications of the Nitecore Superior Prime Series read as follows:

20190820172739_44780

And somehow quite familiar with it. For us it&s actually a bit hard to figure out who originally designed the lens. A very similar lens portfolio had Bokkelux in its program (as long as they still existed) and also NISI and Kinefinity have very similar lens portfolios, whereby it is most likely that NISI manufactures the lenses.

It gets even more confusing when you add the Schneider-Kreuznach FF Xenon family, which also has a similar portfolio. Although Schneider-Kreuznach also has a branch in Shenzen, we can&t really imagine a Schneider Kreuznach deal here.

Be that as it may: The rebranding game doesn&t seem to go out of fashion in Asia yet ...
